Various autologous ‘regenerative’ approaches have emerged
in the last 20 years, such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and Stromal Vascular
Fraction (SVF) therapy.
PRP & SVF have been marketed as ‘regenerative’ therapies. They are early examples
of ‘autologous regeneration’ with low levels of sophistication and efficacy difficulties.
PRP is a tool and not a standalone therapy.
